Artist Bio
Hello! My name is Olivia Sturla.

From as early as I can remember, I have always had a passion for drawing and creating artwork. I would enter children's art & design competitions regularly and won a poster competition for Worthing Museum (age 6) and redesigned the school logo for Davison High School (age 14). Art was always my favourite subject at school and I was often found drawing on the covers of my text books in other lessons. I became interested in realism and human portraiture from the age of 13 and sold my first commission to the Mayor of Worthing at age 14.

I went on to study a Foundation in Fine Art at Brighton City College, but decided not to pursue my studies at university. I worked in finance and banking from the age of 19 and barely picked up a pencil in 5 years.

Fast forward to 2020, I turned to art to lift my spirits during the national lockdown and found myself turning a hobby into a small business through Instagram. I have completed many portrait commissions in the last 12 months and am excited to continue capturing your loved ones and furry friends in the form of art!
